Emacs Lisp is continuously annoying.

Emacs Lisp is continuously just good enough to do what you want it to. And when you eventually figure it out, it’s very rewarding.

In all honesty, the thought of writing something that large—with so many 3rd-party libraries modifying core behavior—in most any existing language sounds unpleasant.

I really need to get Sandpiper going, huh
